2 April, 2023

24 hr Summary... Solar activity remained at low levels. A C6.7 flare was observed during a prominence eruption from the SW limb beginning around ~01/0230 UTC. Analysis and modeling of the subsequent CME observed in SOHO/LASCO C3 imagery suggested no Earth-directed component. No significant growth was observed among any numbered active regions. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available imagery.

The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!

Solar wind parameters remained elevated mostly in response to what appears to be a negative polarity CH HSS. Total magnetic field strength ranged from 3-7 nT while the Bz component reached -6 nT numerous times after 01/0800 UTC. Solar wind speeds remained elevated and varied between ~465-635 km/s. Phi angle was mostly negative with some variability between solar sectors observed during the period.

There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 20% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Leo

Greetings, Earthlings! Gather 'round as I, your interstellar guide through this cosmic journey, present to you a horoscope that'll have you roaring like the king of the jungle, or should I say, the constellation! So, fellow space travelers, our beloved Moon has decided to park itself in Leo's territory. And just how far away is our lunar neighbor? A mere 403,261.050821949 kilometers (or for my fellow nerds out there, 1.341 light-seconds). It's practically next door! Now, with the Moon cozying up to the fierce and fabulous Leo, you might find yourself channeling your inner lion/lioness. This could mean strutting your stuff like you're on an intergalactic catwalk or roaring with laughter at the nearest Stargate marathon. But fear not, my celestial comrades! Our fickle Moon won't be playing houseguest to Leo for long. In just 24 hours, it'll pack up its lunar luggage and hitch a ride to Virgo's crib. So, make the most of this cosmic dance while you can. And remember, just like Jack O'Neill, sometimes you have to embrace the absurdity of life in the vast universe and find humor in the smallest things. Because, let's face it, we're all just tiny specks floating in the cosmic sea, trying to find our way through wormholes and stargates. So why not have a little fun along the way? So, go ahead and bask in the Moon's Leonine glow. Let your mane down, laugh like you've just discovered the funniest joke in the galaxy, and remember to wave goodbye to the Moon as it cruises over to Virgo. Until next time, cosmic adventurers!

Mercury

Mercury Is In Aries

Mercury in Aries: The Intergalactic Speed Racer

Greetings, earthlings! It's time to strap on your jetpacks and blast off into the cosmic fast lane, because Mercury is in Aries and it's ready to party like it's 1969... or 3021, we're not picky. At a mere 167,960,153.224752873km away (give or take a few space crumbs), our little planet of communication has decided to go full-on Star Trek and "boldly go where no one has gone before."

Now, hold onto your space helmets, because Mercury in Aries means our minds are about to be zipping around faster than the Millennium Falcon on hyperdrive. No time for second thoughts or rewinding that mental VHS tape, because Aries is all about moving forward at warp speed. You'll find yourself itching to explore new galaxies, whether it's in conversation or tackling problems that have been orbiting your life for lightyears.

Here's the cosmic catch, though: while Mercury in Aries gives us the confidence to say "beam me up, Scotty" and express our inner Captain Kirks, it can also cause a few interstellar collisions. So, watch out for those pesky asteroid fields of insensitivity and lack of compromise, or you might find yourself floating through the cold vacuum of space. Alone.

But fear not, space cadets! This planetary alignment also brings out the mad scientist in all of us, sparking innovative ideas and flashes of insight that would make even Einstein's hair stand on end (more than usual). So, grab your lab coats and Bunsen burners, and seize these bursts of brilliance like they're the last Mars bar at an intergalactic bake sale.

Remember, fellow cosmic travelers: during Mercury in Aries, your first thoughts are often your best ones. So, trust your inner Spock, and let your mind boldly go where it's never gone before. Live long and prosper!

Venus

Venus is in Taurus

Venus is prograde at 19 Tau 29' 47", moving at 1.18 degrees per day, and is 177062138km away and approaching.

Venus Is In Taurus

Greetings, fellow star children! It's time for an out-of-this-world update! The cosmic force known as Venus has cozied up to the sensual Taurus, and they're currently chilling together at a distance of 177,101,956.171634495km away from us. As a scientifically-minded hippie astrologer, I must say that their celestial rendezvous is nothing short of stellar! So, what does this groovy planetary hangout mean for all you Earthlings? Well, my friends, it's time to slow down and smell the roses, or perhaps even the extraterrestrial flora! With Venus in Taurus, we're reminded that life on this pale blue dot can be an absolutely breathtaking experience. It's a time to simplify your cosmic conundrums and get back to basics, like rebuilding relationships from the subatomic level. Now, if you're trying to beam up some romance, dating under the Venus-Taurus influence is like discovering a hidden wormhole to happiness. It's a perfect opportunity to live in the present moment, bask in the glow of a supernova, and revel in the company of someone who makes your heart skip a light-year. Perhaps you'll share a bowl of space popcorn during a classic sci-fi marathon or sip some otherworldly wine while gazing at the stars. No matter how you choose to indulge your senses, the universe is definitely vibing with you. The gravitational pull of commitment is extra strong when Venus and Taurus team up. It's a cosmic combination that favors long-lasting connections over fleeting encounters like those awkward speed dates on the Space Station. So, if you've been eyeing that cute humanoid from across the galaxy, now's the time to make your move and take your relationship to warp speed. But beware, my cosmic comrades! Taurus is also known to be a bit stubborn, like trying to convince an alien abductee that they were just dreaming. During this planetary pairing, you might find it challenging to compromise or open up to new possibilities in your relationships. If you're single, don't let that Taurus tenacity keep you from embracing the unknown and letting love into your orbit. So, Earthlings, remember that a little flexibility can make all the difference in navigating the vast universe of love and relationships. Embrace the cosmic dance between Venus and Taurus, and may the force of love be with you always!

Mars

Mars is in Cancer

Mars Is In Cancer

Greetings, fellow star children! Gather 'round and let me tell you a tale of the cosmic dance happening above us. For you see, Mars, our feisty red neighbor, has cozied up to Cancer, that sweet celestial crab. So, what happens when the fiery warrior planet enters the realm of home, family, and nostalgia? Well, let me tell you, it's like a groovy fusion of a science fiction convention and a retro potluck dinner! Mars in Cancer is like Spock wearing an apron, attending a family reunion, and giving Vulcan salute hugs. It's about embracing the old-school charm, but also getting stuff done efficiently. You know, like when Delenn from Babylon 5 would use her wit and wisdom to save the day while also nurturing her people. This cosmic mash-up brings out your inner geek-chic homemaker. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to channel that energy into domestic tasks. Break out the toolbox, get your hands dirty, and show your home some love. And yes, I mean literally hammering nails and fixing things, not just binge-watching Babylon 5 on the couch. Now, with Mars in Cancer, you might also feel like you've gained superpowers to protect your loved ones, like a fierce mama bear in a tie-dye cape. But be warned: this cosmic combo can make you a bit overprotective and sensitive. While it's great to stand up for those you care about, remember to take a deep breath and count to ten before leaping into action. It's time to boldly go where your heart leads you, dear stargazers, but remember that your actions should be guided by a balance between logic and emotion. Mars in Cancer might make you feel like you're juggling a lightsaber and a casserole dish, but if you embrace this cosmic connection, you can create a harmonious future that honors both past and present. So, go forth and conquer, my celestial siblings! Let the Mars-in-Cancer energy guide you like Delenn's wisdom in Babylon 5, and may the cosmic force be with you. Peace, love, and stardust! ✌️🌌💫

Jupiter In Aries: R2-D2 Edition

*Beep boop beep!* Friends, stargazers, and intergalactic wanderers, lend me your antennae, for I have a cosmic update that's hotter than the twin suns of Tatooine! Jupiter, the grand master of luck and expansion, has blasted off into the fiery sign of Aries! And at *whistle* 888934125.531814575km away, it's quite the astronomical adventure!

Now, let's get nerdy! As this galactic giant goes into warp speed (aka prograde), our minds become as brilliant as supernovae, showering us with innovative ideas and lightning-fast intuition. It's time to boldly go where we haven't gone before, shaking off the space dust of our past to explore new solutions for the future. Aries, the zodiac's fearless pioneer, infuses our quest with the courage to venture into uncharted territory.

With Jupiter in Aries, planning is so last millennium. Feel the Force within you, and run with your inspirations! Hesitation only leads to analysis paralysis, turning us into droids stuck in the sands of doubt. So, draw your lightsabers, my fellow star warriors, and embrace every experience as a step toward growth!

But beware, young Padawans, for the self-teaching ways of Jupiter in Aries may tempt you to ignore the wisdom of your Jedi Masters. Yes, taking risks and learning on your own are vital, but don't let impatience turn you into a Sith, creating confrontation across the galaxy. Embrace the power of two-way dialogue, and remember that even the wisest Jedi can learn from the humblest Ewok.

As Jupiter journeys through Aries, we forge our own destiny among the stars. By embracing our inner Skywalker, we unlock opportunities, solutions, relationships, and even galactic fortune that were once hidden in the shadows of the Dark Side. Jupiter invites us to expand our potential as individuals, using the Force within us to create a future brighter than the core of the Death Star.

So, my interstellar friends, let us ride this cosmic wave of Jupiter in Aries like Han Solo navigating an asteroid field, remembering that the key to our success lies within us, just waiting for us to activate our lightsabers and illuminate the universe. *Beep

Intergalactic Astrology Report: Saturn in Pisces

Greetings, Earthlings! 'Tis I, Captain John Sheridan of Babylon 5, here to bring you an astrological update that's out of this world! As we speak, the great ringed planet, Saturn, has decided to take a cosmic dip into the mystical waters of Pisces. So grab your goggles and snorkels, it's time to dive deep into your dreams, folks! Saturn is currently a mere 1580373633.837036848km away, so it's practically knocking on our door. But fear not, for it's only here to help us make our wildest dreams a reality.

Saturn in Pisces is like a celestial life coach, ready to whip our daydreams into shape. You know that book you've been meaning to write, or that eco-friendly coffee shop you've been wanting to open? Well, now's the time to get your ducks in a row, or should I say, your space ducks! Bust out the notepads and start making those detailed plans - business strategies, budgets, and even loan options. No one ever said following your dreams was easy, but by tapping into the powers of Saturn in Pisces, we can make some stellar progress.

But be warned, my friends, Saturn in Pisces isn't all rainbows and unicorns (or should I say, space rainbows and space unicorns). When the Master of Rules wades into the depths of your dreams, there's bound to be a bit of turbulence. You might feel as if your inner sanctum has been invaded by an alien force, heck, you might even be tempted to hang a "Keep Out" sign on your subconscious. But trust me, letting Saturn in is the key to success.

As we voyage through this cosmic confluence of Saturn and Pisces, you may notice some sleep disturbances - restlessness, anxiety, or even strange dreams. To make the most of this planetary transit, I prescribe some good ol' fashioned Earth self-care: meditation, forest walks, deep breaths, and perhaps even a catnap in your space hammock! Just don't forget to keep a dream journal handy, as you never know when inspiration will strike.

So there you have it, fellow stargazers! Embrace the wisdom of Saturn in Pisces, and together we'll navigate the cosmos of creativity

Uranus Is In Taurus

Uranus In Taurus: RoboCop Style

Greetings, earthlings! As your friendly, nerdy astrologer, I come bearing news from the cosmic realm. You see, Uranus - that rebellious, rule-breaking planet - has decided to crash the Taurus party. Now, Taurus is a sign that prefers stability and predictability, much like how RoboCop loves law and order. But with Uranus in town, it's like ED-209 just entered the scene, shaking things up and making everyone a tad bit nervous.

Imagine the stock market as a peaceful little town, and Uranus as a cybernetic hippie who just rolled in on a solar-powered skateboard. That's right, folks - while Uranus hangs out in Taurus for the next seven years, we can expect some revolutionary changes in the world of finance. Banks might start handing out loans in cryptocurrency, or maybe we'll all start trading Galactic Credits. Who knows?

On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is like a cosmic life coach, encouraging us to break free from the suffocating grip of money and materialism. It's time to reevaluate your relationship with credit card debt, taxes, and that mountain of stuff in your closet. Do you really need that vintage RoboCop action figure, or could you sell it to pay off some bills?

The thing is, resistance is futile (oops, wrong sci-fi franchise!). Uranus is here to help us embrace change, even if it feels as unsettling as a cyborg police officer patrolling the streets. So, instead of digging in your heels, try to ride this cosmic wave toward a more stable and secure financial future. Remember, "Dead or alive, you're coming with me" - and that applies to both Robocop and the Uranus in Taurus transit!

It's got somethin' to say, and it's sendin' us all a wave of groovy insights. This cosmic connection's got me feelin' like Wash at the helm of Serenity, explorin' the farthest reaches of the 'verse! As Neptune shimmies in prograde motion through the spiritual realm of Pisces, we're bein' gifted with some shiny new perspectives. Like a Firefly-class ship navigatin' the black, our emotional compasses are suddenly alignin' with the great cosmic unification force, lightin' up the way toward wholeness and unity. This planetary hoedown is callin' on us to put aside those petty squabbles, those Reaver-sized differences, and see the gorram beauty in comin' together. We each got somethin' special to contribute to the crew, so it's time to dig deep into our emotional cargo bays and pull out those precious gifts. During this transit, why not try somethin' new? Take a spiritual course that tickles your fancy, or build an altar in the corner of your bunk where you can connect with the sacred. And don't be shy about sharin' your discoveries with the rest of the 'verse; Neptune's got your back like a trusty co-pilot in this endeavor. So, all you Browncoats and stargazers, let Neptune in Pisces guide you through these cosmic winds. Remember, the 'verse is a big place, but we're all in this together. Stay shiny and keep flyin'!

Pluto In Aquarius: It's Electric!

Greetings, stargazers and fellow nerds! So, let's talk about how Pluto, our favorite "used-to-be-a-planet-but-got-downgraded" celestial body, is now chilling in Aquarius. Oh, the cosmic shenanigans that are bound to happen! I mean, Pluto is only 5,245,446,081.212008476km away... but who's counting, right?

First off, let's clarify something: When I say Pluto is chillin' in Aquarius, we're talking about a transformational fiesta of epic proportions, my friends. This isn't some casual stroll through the park. Nah, Pluto is all about metamorphosis, shedding old skin like a snake, and Aquarius? Well, it's the sign of progress and innovation—think Tesla coils and mad scientists.

So, what do you get when you mix Pluto's penchant for rebirth with Aquarius' forward-thinking attitude? A soul-shaking, mind-bending roller coaster ride that'll turn our world upside down, inside out, and possibly leave us all wondering if we accidentally wandered onto the set of a sci-fi movie.

Expect to see groundbreaking advances in science, tech, and space travel while Pluto is doing the cha-cha in Aquarius. But wait, there's more! We're also in for some jaw-dropping shifts in civil rights and humanitarianism. That's right; we're all going to be swept up in a collective do-gooder vibe that'll make us reevaluate how we treat each other and the world around us. Power to the people, baby!

On a personal level, this cosmic combo will nudge us to ponder our place in the grand scheme of things. Yup, it's time to stop being so self-focused and start considering what we can do for the greater good. Can you imagine a world where everyone's first thought is, "How can I make life better for all of us?" That's the groovy utopia that Pluto in Aquarius wants to create.

So, my fellow space cadets, are you ready to join forces and answer Pluto's call for a kinder, more compassionate world? Grab your crystals, put on your favorite tie-dye shirt, and let's make the universe a better place, one cosmic leap at a time!

You may experience verbal boxing matches today along with a test of wills. Propaganda may be spread that just isn't true. Don't bully people into seeing the rightness of your cause. Be tolerant of others' viewpoints. Remember, you're not always right. You are so perceptive and you dig so deep for answers that you can be your own worst enemy. As a result, you might find ulterior motives or dark intent where there is none, and your suspicious, provocative attitude can cause some problems in your personal life, particularly if it reaches the level of paranoia. Not many people enjoy being second-guessed all the time, yet that is something that you are inclined to do, and a tendency that should be kept in check in your dealings with others. However, your determination to get to the bottom of any matter, to rip away falsehoods and expose true motives, can be used for good if you employ it in your work, for example, which can involve investigation and research, psychology, or revealing and perhaps dark creative arts. You can be insatiably curious about all that is hidden, taboo, repressed, or secret. You have a great love of debate, but should be careful that you don’t overpower others with your strong opinions, attempting to “convert” them to your frame of mind, or treat regular debate or exchanges of opinion as battlegrounds. Many of you do learn to harness your intense mental energy and apply it productively. You are capable of very hard work and effort.Interpretation sample from the In-Depth Profile report — You are bright and insightful but the very strength and depth of your vision can mislead you. In consequence, you get in your own way a lot. The magnitude of a project can intimidate you so that you don’t even embark on it. You are a perfectionist and compulsive. You fear being judged by others as inadequate and this quality has you afraid to act. Of course, you do overcome this many times in your day to day life, but it goes smoother for you when you stop attributing negative motives to those around you. You are able to do this when you feel better about yourself. Periods of meditation and contemplation are necessary to get to know yourself. Some Famous People with the Mercury in Hard Aspect to Pluto: Squares – Hank Williams, Brigitte Bardot, Bjork, Bo Derek, Cloris Leachman, George Lucas, Mickey Rooney, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lee Iacocca, D. H. Lawrence; Oppositions – Oprah Winfrey, Boris Yeltsin, Elvis Presley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kurt Cobain.

Venus

Venus Conjunct Uranus

There is high excitement in relationships today. You are feeling magnetic and the people around you can sense it. Creativity and intuition can be used today for some very positive results. You feel a need for emotional freedom, but don't make any serious changes while under the effects of this aspect. You may experience love at first sight.People with a Venus-Uranus conjunction in their natal charts are usually very magnetic, intriguing, and dynamic individuals. They value friendship in love and sincerity of feelings is the most important quality for them. These are people who will turn their nose at marriage, saying that it’s how people feel about each other that counts more than a marriage certificate. Although friendly and usually quite willing to make friends with people from all walks of life, there is an impersonal and noncommittal manner to them that is unmistakable. They despise social pretenses. Despite the fact that they firmly believe that popularity is much less important than sincerity, they are often rather popular people. They love to be different, and in many ways they are open-minded when it comes to love and romance. Still, they can be quite argumentative and sometimes uncooperative–even downright inflexible–when it comes to their own “inner code” and honoring it. They are not as adaptable to others’ expectations of them as their freedom-loving beliefs might imply. In other words, although they easily accept many different people into their lives, they cling tightly to their own ways of living. Some fear compromise, seeing it as a loss of self or a loss of individuality. Their taste and “style” is different and original. This can extend to choice of dress as well as taste in art, furniture, movies, and so forth. Sometimes Uranus is projected, and the partners that these people are attracted to display the Uranian traits of independence, originality, unreliability, inconsistency, and freedom-loving. Ex-lovers of Venus-Uranus natives may complain that these people didn’t truly value the relationship. In love and with regards to the erotic, the most appealing things can be what hasn’t been done or what “shouldn’t” be done. Mixing things up and experimentation are important to Venus-Uranus people.Alternate, short interpretations: *You are excitable, spontaneous, and easily aroused emotionally and sexually. You fall in love very quickly and have little self-restraint or concern for propriety when your feelings have been stirred. However, it may be difficult for you to sustain a relationship after the first rush of excitement wanes, especially if your partner is basically a conservative person who does not like to change or experiment. Nontraditional relationships appeal to you, and personal freedom is highly important to you.#Once you find the spiritual teaching that suits you, you are totally and forever hooked into it. Until that happens, you may start and end many times. When you are on the right path, beginnings and endings around you become cyclical milestones in the development of your personal belief system. From Your Spiritual Path report. Some Famous People with Venus conjunct Uranus: Christina Aguilera (Venus in early Sagittarius, Uranus in late Scorpio), Tori Amos, Warren Beatty (Venus conjunct Uranus in Taurus), Anita Bryant (Venus conjunct Uranus in Taurus), Elizabeth Taylor (Venus conjunct Uranus in Aries), Warren Beatty, Harry Belafonte, Betty Ford, Heather Locklear (Venus in early Virgo conjunct Uranus in late Leo), Steve McQueen, Bill Moyers, Sidney Poitier (Venus conjunct Uranus in Pisces), Johnny Cash (Venus conjunct Uranus in Aries), Kathy Bates, Erma Bombeck, Donovan (Venus conjunct Uranus in Gemini), Katie Holmes (Venus conjunct Uranus in Scorpio – and sextile Saturn), Jim Jones (Venus conjunct Uranus in Aries), Cat Stevens.

This is a terrific day to do mundane, routine, or boring jobs as they won't seem quite so distasteful. Make the most of today and get plenty of things done. You know how to get to your goals in life by steady, patient, and persistent progress. You have good, practical overviews of the final result of your efforts. You are good at planning a strategy and sticking to it. You build your projects and your life with bedrock security in mind, with as little risk as possible. Discipline, patience, hard work, and the blessing of good judgment work together to form a picture that looks like “luck” to others. — Interpretation sample from the In Depth report. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mars and Saturn have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently.Mars sextile Saturn or Mars trine Saturn: *You possess the gifts of endurance and perseverance, the willingness to work hard and seriously to achieve your objectives. Once you decide you want something or make a commitment, you’ll do it “even if it takes forever”. Self-discipline is natural to you and you instinctively realize that any creative achievement is “10% inspiration, 90% perspiration”. You choose practical, realistic goals and pursue them step-by-step in a well-planned, orderly way. You like to concentrate on one thing at a time and do a thorough job. You enjoy working in solitude, and often feel your best work is done when you are alone.#You may find that you go from one transformational situation to another, never really settling into any one thing. Yet you have the endurance necessary for the long haul. Some Famous People with Mars in Harmonious Aspect to Saturn: Sextiles – Thomas Edison, Alfred Adler, Galileo, Camilla Parker Bowles, Freddie Prinze, Corbin Bernsen, Catherine the Great, Omar Sharif, Ben Stiller, Barbara Walters; Trines – Denzel Washington, Rudolph Steiner, Josef Stalin, Yves Saint Laurent, Emily Post, Marilyn Monroe, Sinclair Lewis, David Letterman, Annie Lennox, Leonardo Da Vinci, Andy Griffith, Dwight Eisenhower, Eric Clapton, Kevin Butler, Kareem Abdul Jabar.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
