Solar activity was at low levels. Several low level C-class flares were observed from newly numbered Region 3207 (S13E71, Cai/beta) as it rotated onto the SE limb. This region had limited growth as it rotated further onto the visible disk. Region 3204 (N25W59, Dao/beta) exhibited slight growth in its leader spots, and was responsible for a few C-class flares as well. The remaining spotted regions were either stable or in decay.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Solar wind parameters reflected a nominal solar wind regime for the first half of the period. Solar winds decreased below 400 km/s, total field strength averaged near 4 nT, and the Bz component had no significant southward deviations. Shortly after 30/1500 UTC, the Phi angle switched to a positive orientation and density values began to rise. The Bz component then saw a gradual southward deviation to near -7 nT, Phi became variable, and solar winds began to increase, eventually reaching a peak near 480 km/s.
There is a 10% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
